About the Role:
We're looking for a reliable, experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our daytime operations at Buh's BBQ. This hands-on role is responsible for food prep, breakfast/lunch execution, and kitchen team management while maintaining the quality, consistency, and pace our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team during breakfast and lunch service.
- Oversee prep schedules, product rotation, and daily food safety standards.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation logs, and compliance with health codes.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
- Ensure all dishes meet Buh's BBQ quality standards before leaving the line.
- Support cross-team communication between FOH and BOH staff.
- Open and set up the kitchen daily, ensuring full readiness by 7:30 AM.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a commercial kitchen (BBQ or casual dining preferred).
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- Ability to lead a small, fast-paced team.
- Positive, professional attitude and commitment to quality.
Schedule:
- Tuesday – Saturday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Sundays
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) + performance bonuses

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
