Executive Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel or hospitality facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in cleaning and custodial services. This role is vital in ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional housekeeping standards and efficient management of the housekeeping team. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the property
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control procedures
• Manage housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Oversee cleaning tasks such as floor care, dusting, laundry, room preparation, and special cleaning projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve any service issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work within a hospitality or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and various cleaning methods
• Experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles preferred
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate staff and ensure productivity
• Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks with efficiency and attention to detail
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $32, $35,000.00 per year
