Position Summary
Make Good Company is hiring an Office Assistant to provide office and administrative support at MGC's office located in Los Angeles, CA. The Office Assistant will primarily be responsible for organizing the office, maintaining office inventory, providing event support, and other administrative tasks as assigned. This individual will report to Senior Project Director and support the CEO and other Make Good team members. The Office Assistant will be part-time (with option to move full-time) and must be physically in office.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the office
- Manage all office building and office parking requests and paperwork
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail
- Schedule meetings and manage event calendars
- Organize notes, documents, and file structure
- Draft emails, letters, and PowerPoint presentations
- Maintain office and kitchen inventory, including supplies and equipment
- Manage monthly IT updates and software licenses for staff
- Coordinate Make Good Company's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Maintain Make Good Company memberships (LAX Coastal Chamber, Asian American Architects/Engineers Association, Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC))
- Support with event planning, coordination, and logistics for Make Good sponsored events
- Provide renewal and documentation support for Make Good certifications (ACDBE, LBE, DBE, SBE, LSBE)
- Act as authorized signer for the airport badging process, including tracking trainings, special access requests, and updating a badging log
- Update Make Good Company's contact list
- Other administrative duties as requested
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1-2 years of office or administrative experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and motivated
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Office etiquette and clerical skills
- Required to be in the office – No remote work allowed
