Salon Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team on Fridays and Saturdays. Bilingual in Spanish and English is essential to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage appointments, and support daily salon operations. Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using POS systems
• Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette
• Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and sales
• Conduct product demos and educate clients about available treatments and merchandise
• Maintain merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure retail areas are organized
• Process transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and products
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting products during client interactions
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area to provide a professional environment

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English for effective communication with diverse clients
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to upsell products and services confidently
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Experience in grocery store or retail environments is advantageous but not required
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
