Mystic Market is Hiring a General Manager

Are you a self-motivated, independent leader with a passion for hospitality? Join our team as a General Manager at one of Mystic Market's many locations across Connecticut.

This role offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the location, working independently to oversee all aspects of operations and drive success. You'll oversee all aspects of the location, from daily operations to customer service, making key decisions to ensure the store's success. This position includes working late nights a competitive salary plus tips.

Responsibilities

 Manage day-to-day operations independently, including the daily running of the store and overseeing retail management

 Design strategies and set goals for growth

 Handle customer interactions and provide excellent service

 Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and health/safety regulations

 Monitor and improve financial performance

 Address and resolve challenges, such as profit declines or competition

 Maintain inventory levels and ensure retail displays are well-stocked and visually appealing

 Prepare reports for upper management

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role with experience in the food service industry, a gourmet food market or retail position.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities solo
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of business operations and processes
• Confident decision-making and leadership skills
