Experienced Warehouse Receiver

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Receiver to join our dynamic operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments and ensuring seamless warehouse operations. This role requires proficiency in warehouse management systems and equipment, such as forklifts and reach trucks. The Warehouse Receiver plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring timely distribution for e-commerce and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies against purchase orders
• Record receipt details accurately in warehouse management systems
• Stock received items in designated storage locations following proper procedures
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
• Support shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers and internal teams
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in warehouse shipping & receiving, or related roles
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely (certification preferred)
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including stocking, order picking, and packaging
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
