JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, WHERE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Supervise production operations in accordance with quality and safety standards;
• Develop production plans based on demand requirements, ensuring that production targets are met on time.
• Plan production schedules and coordinate teams to meet performance targets;
• Manage human and material resources required for production, ensuring optimal use of equipment and ongoing training of personnel;
• Ensure compliance with safety standards within the plant, by implementing safe practices and training staff on safety protocols;
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards;
• Investigate and analyze all accidents promptly;
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes in collaboration with the process engineer;
• Work closely with the Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Procurement departments to meet production objectives;
• Ensure the hiring, integration, training and performance evaluation of employees under his/her supervision;
• Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering department to implement appropriate projects and corrective measures;
• Ensure that quality tests are carried out on time;
• Maintain procedures and documentation and manage non-conformities related to the production department's quality system;
• Set up and maintain performance indicators: produce weekly and monthly reports;
• Draw up and monitor the annual budget for departmental operations;
• All other related tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma of college studies or university degree in production or operations management or in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years management and/or supervisory experience in the manufacturing (mandatory) or extrusion (an asset) sector;

SKILLS :

• Knowledge of ISO9001 and 14001 standards;
• Knowledge of Lean principles (5S, Kanban, etc.);
• Knowledge of OHS legal requirements and best practices;
• Excellent English language skills. The successful candidate will be required to interact on a regular basis
