About the Role

A fast-growing commercial concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Tilt-Up General Superintendent to lead large-scale tilt-up projects across Northern and Southern Utah. This role is responsible for end-to-end execution of warehouse, industrial, retail, full tilt-up builds, from site mobilization through final punch list to closeout.

You will oversee multiple field crews (30–60 personnel), manage crane operations and subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and drive schedules to meet aggressive delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for tilt-up concrete projects
• Plan and execute panel forming, pouring, and erection (30–50+ ft panels)
• Coordinate crane picks, rigging plans, and erection sequencing
• Supervise and mentor superintendents, foremen, and crews
• Manage subcontractors, inspections, and jurisdictional requirements
• Maintain and update project schedules (Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 preferred)
• Enforce OSHA standards and company safety programs
• Conduct daily site walks, QA/QC checks, and safety meetings
• Drive project milestones, punch lists, and closeout documentation
• Coordinate with project management on budgets, manpower, and logistics

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on tilt-up concrete experience (required)
• Proven leadership on full-cycle tilt-up builds
• Extensive experience with panel erection and crane coordination
• Strong scheduling and planning skills
• OSHA 30 certification (required)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Recent project references required
• Preferred experience with Procore, HeavyJob, Bluebeam and other Project Management systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $140,000 – $170,000 (DOE)
• Monthly truck allowance or company truck with gas card

Location Requirement

• Local candidates only: Salt Lake City / Wasatch Front or St. George, UT (Multiple positions SLC County, SLC, St. George)
• Regional travel required between project sites
