Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively for deep cleaning projects in various settings.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep to support overall building operations.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Maintain cleaning logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with strong janitorial skills.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing.
• Familiarity with custodial procedures for residential or commercial spaces.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and efficiently.
• Basic facilities maintenance skills including minor repairs and painting are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cleaning tasks effectively while adhering to schedules.
