Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing pipelines that transport water, and other utilities. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively on a construction site. The Pipelayer will utilize various tools and equipment to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Duties

• Install and maintain pipelines for water, and other utilities according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and layout.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as front loader trucks, backhoes, and loaders for excavation and material handling a plus.
• Utilize pipe lasers for accurate alignment of pipes during installation.
• Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for pipeline installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment on the construction site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

• Experience with utility locating techniques to prevent damage to existing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing processes related to pipeline installation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
