Retail Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
• Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring that products are well-displayed and readily available for customers.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Perform basic retail math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is advantageous.
• Ability to supervise others and provide constructive feedback when needed.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with customers.
• Knowledge of retail math principles is a plus for managing inventory effectively.
