Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

We are seeking a Data Analyst Manufacturing Engineer who will partner with a diverse team of hardware and process engineers, managers, and operators to develop solutions for gathering and interpreting data to help solve product design, build, and test challenges. The role requires use of your process knowledge to rapidly translating complex data into actionable insights, improving data accuracy and automation to accelerate ramp to rate, and serve as the factory-floor liaison to ensure that quantitative findings lead to tangible quality and throughput gains. Candidates must have strong analytical, statistical, and communication skills, a solid foundation in microelectronics manufacturing and assembly, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Analytics Team and cross-functional teams to turn production data into insights that boost micro-electronics yield, flow, and cost efficiency
  • Be a spokesperson for the factory and get involved in the design, testing, and implementation of dashboards and other data tools with the Analytics Team
  • Use data to determine areas for improved process yields, flows, and cost savings measures work directly with the process and product teams to implement improvements.
  • Champion the implementation of AI solutions and assistants to the factory end users
  • Write custom code for gathering data from various sources: MES, databases, equipment logs, production images

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) with 6+ years of work experience OR master's degree with 4+ years of work experience
• Experience with Microelectronics manufacturing standards, processes and techniques.
• Strong technical skills in data analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in project management
• Experience with Mat lab, Python, SQL, or other programming language
• Experience using GenAI models for analysis
• Familiarity with high resolution microscopy
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
• Background in data engineering or data science
• Experience working in cross functional teams
• Process or Product Engineering experience
• New product introduction experience
• Proven success with change management in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
