Network Operations Analyst

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

• Monitor, configure, and optimize the performance of network routers, switches, and wireless devices.
• Provide expert-level support for Wi-Fi networks, including XIQ wireless access points and Aruba wireless systems.
• Manage and troubleshoot Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN platform and related SD-WAN technologies to ensure reliable network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux-based systems, Cisco/Arista routers, Aruba/Cisco switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Work with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network operations with overall IT infrastructure.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, topology, and support procedures.
• Proactively monitor network performance using network monitoring tools to identify and resolve potential issues before they affect business operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in network technologies, including LAN/WAN, wireless infrastructure, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, etc.).
• 3-5 years of experience working with Wi-Fi and wireless technologies, including XIQ wireless access points.
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms, particularly Aruba EdgeConnect.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems, with experience in troubleshooting network and system-related issues.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Arista network routers and Aruba/Cisco switches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Aruba Certified Mobility Associate, or similar).
• Experience with network security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based network technologies.
