At MPE, we turn innovative ideas into medical technologies that improve patient outcomes. We're looking for a hands-on leader who can build, coach, and coordinate a high-performing electrical assembly team in a cleanroom setting.

Role Snapshot
  • Pay: $22–$25/hour
  • Schedule: First Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
  • Environment: ISO Class 5 cleanroom with strict ESD controls
What will you lead?
  • End-to-end electrical assembly and sub-assembly for medical devices: wiring, soldering, PCB assembly, PLC wiring, and electrical testing.
  • Precise builds using torque tools and detailed work instructions.
  • Verification of peers' work to quality standards, with proper documentation.
  • Troubleshooting of equipment and build issues; act as the technical resource on the line.
  • Daily coordination of workload, priorities, and resources to hit production goals.
  • Training and cross-training team members on new and existing projects.
  • Support for cleanroom scheduling and direction under the Electrical Assembly Supervisor.
  • Mechanical final assembly/subassembly on the line as workload requires.
  • Strict adherence to MPE, Customer, ISO, and FDA procedures; consistent PPE use and safety compliance.
  • 6S housekeeping and continuous improvement habits.
Do you have the background?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in electrical assembly; lead experience preferred.
  • Comfortable reading mechanical drawings/blueprints; strong with hand and power tools.
  • Disciplined approach to required quality checks.
Can you meet the demands?
  • Frequent use of hand/power tools; fine assembly of small parts; blueprint reading.
  • Follow written and verbal directions accurately.
  • Close and color vision; frequent reading; lift up to 50 lbs.
