We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team! This role is pivotal in delivering the Aubuchon differenceproviding expert advice, building customer relationships, and ensuring every shopping experience is exceptional. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working hands-on with products, tools, and materials, this is the perfect opportunity for you!/pulliProvide world-class customer service, ensuring customers feel valued throughout their shopping experience./liliActively greet customers, understand their needs, and confidently guide them to solutions./liliRecommend products and complementary items to complete projects, explaining features and applications./liliUse Theatro communication technology to stay connected with the team./liliPromote the loyalty program, in-store events, and monthly promotions./liliEncourage customers to share feedback via Google reviews or other company-approved platforms./liliAccurately process sales and returns using the POS system./liliMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including aisles, shelves, and cashier stations./liliMonitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management./liliFulfill online orders promptly and accurately for in-store and curbside pickup./liliDevelop expertise in assigned departments and related categories to assist customers with specific projects./liliPerform hands-on services, including filling propane, key cutting, glass cutting, screen repair, and cutting chain, wire, and rope./liliOperate forklifts and powered material handling equipment safely for stocking and inventory movement./liliAddress technical and product-related inquiries, escalating complex questions as needed./liliAssemble products for in-store displays and customer orders./liliComplete required safety training and certifications, including forklift operation./liliReport hazards or unsafe conditions immediately to the Leader on Duty./liliFollow all company policies, safety regulations, and Aubuchons Core Values./li/ulh3Work Experience/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./liliPrior retail or hardware experience is highly desirable./liliMust be at least 18 years old./liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach./liliOrganizational and problem-solving skills./liliBasic math skills for transactions, inventory management, and project estimates./liliAbility to operate tools and machinery, including key-cutting machines, material-handling equipment, and forklifts./liliWillingness to complete forklift and propane certification within 90 days of hire./liliPositive, professional, and approachable demeanor./liliFlexibility to work weekends and adapt to business needs./liliMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbs./liliAbility to stand, walk, bend, twist, push, and reach throughout shifts./liliMust be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment (accommodations available upon request)./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulli401(k) with Match Program
