Guided by our values of integrity, respect, accountability and excellence, we use leading science and technology to move fiber-based packaging forward./ppstrongThe Opportunity:/strong The Sales Representative is responsible for successfully pursuing new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts to achieve our annual sales objectives./ppThe Sales Representative prospects and engages new customers to develop new business for our plants, manages current customer relationships./ppThe Sales Representative will partner with management to complete budget planning, work with the area operations teams to sell open machine capacity and value-added services while supporting cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution./ppstrongHow you will impact Smurfit Westrock:/strong/ppstrongBusiness Excellence:/strong/pulliEffectively articulate our sales vision and strategy in the pursuit of new business opportunities, develop a robust sales pipeline, and manage select existing customer relationships/liliAbility to navigate within a customers organizational structure and build relationships at multiple levels within accounts/liliDrive Commercial Excellence to exceed our area volume and profit goals through new account development within targeted segments, growth in existing accounts, actively participate in margin improvement initiatives and both drive and support enterprise sales efforts/liliDevelop working relationships with other Smurfit Westrock facilities to create opportunities for additional revenue streams across the enterprise capabilities/liliIdentify pricing dynamics within accounts to provide insights to Smurfit Westrock commercial decisions/liliUnderstand market dynamics and business drivers that define long-term commercial strategies and have an impact on our area and develop strategies to reach company objectives/liliUtilize internal resources to leverage knowledge of market trends and competition/liliDefine overall account vision, Play to Win and account growth plan for targeted customers by aligning market trends and customer needs with Smurfit Westrock solutions/liliDeliver results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets/liliMeet or exceed individual budgeted and volume sales goals to contribute to the organizations annual targets objectives/liliMonitor profitability levels to track progress against budgeted targets and analyze monthly financial summaries/liliEffective utilization of CRM system (Salesforce.com) to manage opportunities and pipeline on a consistent basis/liliManage contractual relationships and negotiate multi-year contracts/li/ulpstrongPeople and Culture:/strong/pulliSeek and qualify prospective customers in accordance with Sales strategy/liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of the overall Sales strategy/liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value add opportunities to improve margins/liliManage customer engagement through the sales lifecycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and to enable customer satisfaction/li/ulpstrongWhat you need to succeed:/strong/pulliBachelors degree preferred/lili3-5 years of corrugated sales experience/lili2-3+ years business-to-business (B2B) Sales experience (Manufacturing/service industry preferred)/liliAbility to create and deliver engaging presentations to internal and external audiences/liliDemonstrated sales competence and financial acumen/liliExperience with Salesforce.com/liliMicrosoft Office
