We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *Physical Therapist* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to diverse patient needs. The Physical Therapist will play a vital role in improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop personalized *care plans* based on individual needs.
* Implement therapeutic interventions such as *trigger point therapy*, *orthopedics*, and other physiotherapy techniques to promote recovery and mobility.
* Coordinate *discharge planning* and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
* Provide *patient care* in various environments including *acute care*, *home & community care*, *hospital*, *clinic*, and *outpatient* facilities.
* Document patient progress accurately using *EMR systems* and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
* Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies for ongoing wellness.
* Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, including specialized areas such as *geriatrics*, *pediatrics*, and *orthopedics*.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards during all patient interactions.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of *anatomy* and *physiology* essential for accurate assessment and effective treatment planning.
* Proficiency in using *EMR systems* for documentation and patient management.
* Experience with diverse patient populations including *pediatrics*, *geriatrics*, and those requiring *home & community care*.
* Familiarity with various treatment modalities such as *trigger point therapy* and other manual therapy techniques.
* Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans incorporating both inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Excellent communication skills for educating patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
* Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
