The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving Feature Strategy & Operational Intent (FSOI) use cases, defining system requirements and test cases, supporting HMI development, and leading Design Verification (DV) and feature sign-off activities. This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in EV charging technologies, systems engineering, and cross-functional delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of EV charging features, ensuring alignment with program and customer requirements.
Define and manage Feature Strategy & Operational Intent (FSOI) use cases for charging features.
Translate feature concepts into clear, traceable system requirements and test cases.
Collaborate with HMI teams to define and refine the user experience related to charging.
Support the integration of charging features across hardware, software, and control systems.
Lead or support the Design Verification (DV) planning and execution, including validation testing and defect resolution.
Ensure on-time sign-off and documentation of charging features for vehicle release.
Work cross-functionally with software, controls, systems, and validation teams throughout the development lifecycle

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required Experience
5+ years of experience in charging systems engineering, preferably in automotive or electric mobility sectors.
Track record of feature delivery from concept to validation in a product or vehicle program.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of EV charging systems, standards (e.g., CCS, ISO 15118, OCPP), and hardware/software integration.
Proven experience with FSOI use case development, requirements engineering, and test case creation.
Knowledge of HMI design and implementation for EV charging features.
Familiarity with validation test plans, DV cycles, and issue resolution processes.
Experience using engineering tools like DOORS, Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANape), JIRA, and test management systems
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and delivery timelines
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Additional certifications in EV systems, charging protocols, or systems engineering are a plus
