Team Member

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in various aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and safety standards are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and hospitality within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
• Follow all sanitation procedures and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
