Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are preferred but not required. The position involves working in a lively environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to company standards and recipes, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Handle food safely by following sanitation and food handling guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Assist with cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately and giving correct change.
  • Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required.
  • A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$22.24 per hour
