Bâton Rouge Kanata is currently looking for a motivated, reliable team player who can work dual roles as a Host on some shifts and a Service Bartender on others.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure, and understands how every role contributes to the guest experience.

Position Requirements

  • Valid Smart Serve certification (required)
  • Flexible availability for host and service bar shifts
  • Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude

Host Responsibilities

As a Host, you are the first impression of the restaurant. You set the tone from the moment guests walk in.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a warm, welcoming smile and makes a great first impression
  • Is punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Adapts easily to all types of clientele
  • Enjoys working with the public and excels in guest relations
  • Performs well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with guests and teammates
  • Handles guest concerns calmly, rationally, and respectfully
  • Demonstrates strong team spirit and professionalism at all times

Service Bartender Responsibilities (Support Role)

As a Service Bartender, your role is to support the floor team and ensure drinks and desserts go out quickly, accurately, and to Bâton Rouge standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing drinks, cocktails, desserts, and signature coffees according to Bâton Rouge recipes
  • Maintaining freshness of garnishes and desserts
  • Ensuring cleanliness of glassware, plates, and work areas
  • Assisting teammates by producing drinks and desserts efficiently during peak periods
  • Following all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Supporting smooth service flow between bar, kitchen, and floor staff

Training & Support

Bâton Rouge uses a modular training system, allowing employees to learn each role thoroughly and confidently. You'll be supported by experienced managers and a welcoming team committed to your success.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week
