Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, coordinate daily tasks, and implement best practices within our logistics environment. Your leadership will be key to maintaining a high-performing and safe warehouse.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Train and develop warehouse personnel, providing coaching and performance management.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse facility.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management, with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety standards and experience enforcing them.
  • Experience with managing a team and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Familiarity with various types of lifting equipment.
