Join our team as an Order Picker in Dallas, Texas! We are seeking dedicated individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders by picking items from our warehouse shelves. This role is fundamental to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. As an Order Picker, you will use scanning devices and pick lists to locate and retrieve items, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment, requiring speed, accuracy, and a commitment to following established procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order pick lists or use scanning devices to identify items to be picked.
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify the quantity and type of items picked against the order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or carts as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts as directed.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to use required PPE .
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
