We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and then carefully packing these items for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and ensure order accuracy. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to work efficiently and effectively is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack products securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
