As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in the accuracy and speed of our logistics operations, ensuring that the right products are selected and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be expected to follow all guidelines regarding safe Lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE. This role is critical to our warehouse's overall performance and our supply chain's success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare items for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including correct PPE usage.
- Perform tasks that require moderate physical exertion and safe Lifting.
- Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking techniques.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability for safe Lifting and handling of goods.
- Commitment to following safety standards and wearing required PPE.
