Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials to and from production and storage areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated storage locations, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and **Safety**.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all **Safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE**.
- Support overall warehouse **Logistics** by ensuring timely movement of materials.
- Perform **Lifting** of materials, sometimes in bulk, following proper techniques.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **Safety** procedures and the correct use of **PPE**.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Logistics** and material flow.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
