We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and our warehouse management systems are up-to-date. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, excellent data analysis skills, and a commitment to safety and process improvement within our logistics environment. Responsibilities include: Performing regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes; Maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS); Monitoring stock levels and reporting on inventory status; Implementing and improving inventory control procedures; Collaborating with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient inventory flow; Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE); Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement; Assisting with the implementation of new inventory management technologies or processes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to perform tasks that may involve moderate lifting.
