Are you organized and efficient? We're seeking a reliable Shipping Clerk to join our **Logistics** team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for processing outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently. This includes preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, packaging items securely, and coordinating with carriers. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to **Safety** are essential. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. Adherence to all **Safety** regulations and proper use of **PPE** is mandatory. This position requires the ability to handle **Lifting** and moving packages, as well as working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your accuracy directly impacts customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Verify order details against shipping manifests.
- Package products securely for transit, ensuring no damage.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Conduct regular checks of shipping supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Ensure proper use of **PPE** when handling shipments.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving packages as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related **Logistics** role.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** and moving of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of **Safety** procedures and **PPE**.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
