We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic **Logistics** facility in Austin, Texas. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the safe and efficient handling of materials using forklifts. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and ensuring that goods are stored correctly. A strong commitment to **Safety**, including the proper use of **PPE** and adherence to all operational guidelines, is critical. The ideal candidate possesses excellent operating skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Perform daily **Safety** checks on forklift equipment.
- Ensure **PPE** is worn correctly and at all times.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving of products as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all **Logistics** and warehouse procedures.
- Report any operational issues or **Safety** hazards promptly.
- Contribute to team goals and maintain high productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current **Forklift** certification.
- At least 1 year of proven forklift operating experience.
- Knowledge of **Logistics** operations and warehouse best practices.
- Understanding of **Safety** regulations and the importance of **PPE**.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** and maneuvering of items up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
