Material Handler

We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and the overall efficiency of our Logistics network. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, counting, and organizing materials and products within the facility. • Move materials and products safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking.
• Organize and maintain materials in designated storage areas.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies, safely.
• Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or Safety concerns immediately.
• Assist with packing and kitting processes as needed.
• Practice safe Lifting techniques and assist colleagues when necessary.
• Support the Logistics department in achieving operational targets.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating basic material handling equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Familiarity with basic Logistics concepts is helpful.
• Must adhere to all PPE requirements.
