As a Material Handler, you will operate various pieces of warehouse equipment, contributing to the seamless flow of our logistics chain. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory accurately.
- Organize and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Pick and prepare materials for shipment based on order documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure warehouse areas, including loading docks and aisles, are kept clean and hazard-free.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks efficiently.
- Perform other warehouse-related tasks as required by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse setting is required.
- Certification to operate forklifts or related equipment is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and RF scanners.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety regulations.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
