We are hiring skilled Forklift Operators for our busy San Antonio, Texas facility! In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways and adherence to Safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to Lifting, material handling, and emergency protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety shoes and any other required gear.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proven ability to safely handle materials and perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
