We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our vibrant warehouse team in Miami, Florida. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our stockroom and ensuring accurate inventory records. Your responsibilities will include receiving and checking in inventory, stocking shelves, performing cycle counts, and assisting with inventory reconciliation. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and accurate stock levels, supporting timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated locations.
- Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.
- Label and tag inventory items as required.
- Support the logistics and shipping departments with inventory information.
- Report any damages or stock issues promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure the proper use of PPE.
- Utilize safe lifting practices for all inventory items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards.
