We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to unload, inspect, and process all goods received, verifying quantities against purchase orders and shipping manifests. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining inventory integrity. You will be responsible for documenting any discrepancies, damages, or short-shipments and reporting them promptly to supervisors. Additionally, you will assist in organizing the receiving area, ensuring it is clean, safe, and efficient for optimal workflow. Adherence to all company policies, including safety protocols and the proper use of required PPE, is paramount. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
