We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role is crucial for the smooth flow of goods and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Your primary focus will be on maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This position offers a great opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming goods, ensuring proper rotation and placement.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload trucks, using appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including sweeping floors, tidying aisles, and removing debris.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure all Lifting requirements are met with proper technique.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
