*Duties*
* Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations.
* Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
* Conduct dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery with precision and care.
* Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to diagnose conditions accurately.
* Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
* Prepare detailed medical documentation and update electronic health records using systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote lifelong dental health.
* Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
* Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records and patient information.
* Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist.
* Proven experience in general dentistry or dental clinic experience preferred; familiarity with dental office operations is a plus.
* Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical documentation standards.
* Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery confidently.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and effectively communicate treatment plans.
* Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles for treating pediatric patients when necessary.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the use of dental fabrication tools is advantageous.

Pay: $121,609.91 - $146,454.95 per year
