*Duties*
* Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
* Design and implement tailored care plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and patient education to optimize recovery outcomes.
* Conduct discharge planning to ensure seamless transition of care from hospital to home or community settings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
* Provide physiotherapy services across various environments including inpatient hospital wards, outpatient clinics, geriatrics units, pediatrics departments, and home health visits.
* Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently to document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately.
* Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, physiotherapy exercises, and management of chronic conditions such as orthopedics or geriatrics issues.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals on care plans for acute care cases and complex medical needs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
*Qualifications*
* Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in Oregon.
* Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments.
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and specialized areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and trigger point therapy.
* Experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
* Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing effective care plans for diverse patient populations.
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that motivates individuals toward recovery.
* Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as hospital wards or outpatient clinics while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $48.00 - $65.00 per hour
