*Job Summary*
We are seeking a Senior Wireless Engineer with deep expertise in Juniper Mist to design, deploy, optimize, and support large-scale wireless networks. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, leading wireless initiatives, and working with modern, cloud-managed networking platforms.
You will serve as a technical leader for wireless architecture, providing hands-on engineering as well as guidance to internal teams and customers.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise wireless networks with a strong emphasis on Juniper Mist WLAN
* Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance Wi-Fi solutions for campus, branch, and high-density environments
* Configure and manage Juniper Mist APs, cloud dashboards, policies, RF profiles, and assurance features
* Perform wireless site surveys, RF analysis, and performance optimization
* Troubleshoot complex wireless issues using Mist AI insights, packet analysis, and RF tools
* Integrate wireless solutions with switching, routing, and security platforms
* Lead wireless projects from design through implementation and handoff
* Provide escalation-level support and root-cause analysis for production environments
* Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices
* Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with strong focus on wireless
* Hands-on experience with Juniper Mist WLAN (required)
* Solid understanding of:
* 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7)
* RF design, channel planning, and interference mitigation
* WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, NAC integrations
* Experience with wireless troubleshooting tools and methodologies
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and network security fundamentals
* Ability to work independently and lead complex technical initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
* Juniper certifications (JNCIA-MistAI, JNCIS/JNCIP, or equivalent)
* Experience with Juniper switching (EX) and routing (SRX, MX)
* Familiarity with Ekahau or similar wireless survey tools
* Experience in healthcare, education, large campus, or high-density environments
* Scripting or automation experience (Python, APIs) is a plus
Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
