Overview
Location: UK Remote or Hybrid with visits to our Sheffield HQ 6 times a year. Twinkl is on an exciting journey to redefine how we serve our global teaching community through data. Introducing new tools and concepts and elevating the business to a higher standard of Data Literacy. Embedding data-driven decision making at the heart of our growth strategy. We're looking for a Growth Analytics Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership for our Growth and Marketing focused analytics, Business Intelligence and experimentation programmes. As a Growth Analytics Lead, you will be a pivotal part of our team, setting the standard for growth measurement, experimentation and reporting across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and monetisation. Your expertise will ensure complex behavioural and commercial data translates into actionable recommendations for sustainable growth.
What will you be doing?
Lead the design, execution and optimisation of growth analytics and BI programmes, defining standards for growth measurement across the full funnel
Manage a multidisciplinary analytics team, resolving operational and technical challenges while maintaining governance and quality
Advise marketing and commercial leaders, integrating data-driven insight into key growth decisions
Produce high-impact growth dashboards and reports using advanced BI tools, highlighting funnel performance, experiment results and key growth metrics
Translate complex model outputs and experiment analyses into clear, actionable insights for product, marketing and commercial stakeholders
Collaborate with Data Engineering to design and build secure, scalable data systems and pipelines that support growth analytics use cases and experimentation
Oversee integration of data from multiple sources to create coherent growth views, ensuring identities, channels and touchpoints are aligned
Set best practice and cultivate technical and collaborative excellence within the growth analytics function
You will work closely with Growth, Marketing and Product teams to drive measurable impact across the business.
What do we need from you?
Extensive experience leading analytics teams focused on growth funnels, acquisition, retention or monetisation
Expert in SQL and Tableau/Looker, with competence in Dbt and Git
Familiarity with GA4, Amplitude, Python and experimentation platforms
Demonstrates a proven track record of applying advanced statistical techniques, predictive modelling, attribution methods and optimisation to understand and influence growth drivers
Strong grasp of experimentation principles, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing and robust experiment result interpretation
Deep understanding of data governance, privacy and consent requirements
Strategic thinker with the ability to advise senior leaders and influence commercial decisions
Confident communicator who can present complex data and insights clearly to a range of stakeholders, tailoring messages for both technical and non-technical audiences
