Overview
Location: Hybrid with weekly travel to our offices in London and Northampton (generally one day a week and ad hoc as required). The Content Executive's role, under the guidance of the Content Manager, is to create content for all our external communication channels (excluding social media). You will be responsible for writing and repurposing content for different audiences and output mechanisms, helping to create and follow the content calendar. As an experienced writer you will understand and adapt messages to each audience while retaining and emphasising our core values and approved tone of voice. Sitting within the Content and Communications team and Marketing Department, we serve as an agency to the wider business supporting Bright Horizons ongoing needs as well as delivering a communications calendar to align with their strategic goals and client employees' evolving interests. Responsibilities
The role will include creating and developing audience-specific content to support the implementation of the content strategy for B2C, B2B, recruitment and internal audiences. Scheduling, writing and updating content for all audiences including, but not limited to, articles for newsletters, resource packs, blogs, client spotlights, early years programmes, brochure copy, nursery openings, new service lines, nursery parent collaboration and content creation, client collateral, audience journey emails, research reports. Manage the newsletter creation and sign-off process, including data reporting to measure impact for client insight and future content creation. Collaborating and coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with latest company strategy and thought leadership research. Monitoring Monday.com, reviewing content produced by other departments to ensure it is aligned with the Bright Horizons tone of voice. Helping to produce content as a reaction to external events and sector changes. Requirements / Qualifications
We are looking for someone who loves words, inspires through engaging content and has excellent written communication skills. You must be able to write engaging content on all manner of topics; ensure they are articulate and designed for easy readability. Experience of writing long-form copies for multiple audiences and ability to adapt tone accordingly. Experience of using AI as a support tool. You will be expected to balance AI use and your own input to curate content themes and maximise SEO/GEO as well as keep up with developments that can support the team. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure to tight deadlines. Ability to task manage and prioritise. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues across the business. A flexible can-do attitude and a real team player as well as the ability to focus and work on projects independently. Previous experience of creating content for different media platforms. Degree and/or relevant experience in a similar role. Experience in a similar sector (e.g., Early Years Education or Employee Benefits). Experience of tailoring content for different audiences. Working knowledge of Monday.com and Copilot.
