Position Overview
Cassin is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site technology needs. As the face of support for our Manhattan and Purchase offices, you will provide hands-on desktop support to our team, ensuring our technology operations run smoothly and efficiently.
You will be the dedicated on-site expert, you will be fully backed by our Managed Service Provider, and CIO for advanced infrastructure support. You will be managed directly by our leadership, providing a perfect blend of autonomy and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
•
End-User Support: Provide timely and professional hands-on and remote support for all hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software (Windows 11, Microsoft 365, business applications) issues.
•
Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare and deploy equipment and create a great experience for new hires and manage IT processes for departing employees.
•
Hardware Management: Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory, setup, and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
•
A/V & Conference Room Support: Ensure all audio/visual equipment in conference rooms is operational and provide support for meetings as needed.
•
Basic Network Troubleshooting: Act as the "hands and eyes" on-site to assist with resolving network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN).
•
Liaison with MSP and other IT Vendors: Serve as a key link between Cassin employees and our partners, escalating tickets and coordinating on-site vendor activities when necessary.
•
Documentation: Create and maintain user-friendly documentation and "how-to" guides for common IT issues and processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
•
2-4 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably providing in-person "deskside" support.
•
Strong proficiency with Windows 11 and the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
•
Experience with Entra AD for user
