Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, military experience, or security operations, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and maintain a secure environment. This role requires a high level of integrity, situational awareness, and excellent conflict management skills to handle various security situations with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas using CCTV surveillance systems and on-foot patrols to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR if necessary.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to protect personnel, property, and information.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and access points to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to security incidents.
• Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating potential threats or disputes effectively.
• Perform loss prevention activities by monitoring for theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security roles.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring systems.
• Excellent conflict management and crisis response abilities.
• Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions during critical situations.
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
