Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and individualized care. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and caregiving techniques tailored specifically for infants. The Infant Lead Teacher will play a vital role in guiding both children and assistant staff to ensure a high-quality educational experience that promotes growth, learning, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of infants.
- Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times.
- Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment following health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to plan daily routines that support individual needs and group dynamics.
- Use positive behavior management strategies to encourage appropriate social interactions among children.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, special education, or working with children with disabilities.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar childcare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills in early childhood environments.
- Experience caring for infants, including knowledge of infant care best practices such as feeding schedules and developmental activities.
- Background in childhood development theories and practices is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are preferred; ongoing training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants can be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
