Class A CDL Full Time Local Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.

Driver must be able to drive a 10 speed.

Duties

• Operate and drive commercial vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of goods to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transit.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in driving a 10 speed and 53 dry vans.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
• Strong route driving skills with a focus on timely deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as per company policy.
• A commitment to safety and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
