Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and pleasant atmosphere for clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces to ensure a tidy environment.
• Handle floor care tasks including buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks in various facilities.
• Support custodial duties by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure functionality.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is advantageous.
• Background in facilities maintenance or porter roles is beneficial.
