Front Desk Receptionist

COSM is urgently hiring a bilingual Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and eager to learn—even if you don't have extensive medical experience.

This position is based out of our East Rutherford office and includes travel to nearby locations to support patient care and daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Travel to nearby COSM locations to assist with daily clinic operations.
• Greet patients and provide a friendly, welcoming front desk experience.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out.
• Collect and document patient information such as medical history, vitals, and visit details.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for in-office procedures.
• Assist physicians and providers during examinations and treatments.
• Create and update patient charts, referrals, and documentation using EMR/EHR systems.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions with care and clarity.
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to keep the office running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
• Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or Front Desk Receptionist is a plus—but not required.
• Certification: CMA certification is not required. If you're motivated and willing to learn, we will train you.
• Travel: Must be willing and able to travel locally up to 50% of the time.
