International Paper Company ) a leader in the industrial packaging industry is accepting applications for full-time Maintenance Tech.4 in its Fort Wayne facility. The successful candidate for this multi-craft position should be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components, as well as apply knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and apply skills in restoring equipment to operation.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. The position will require working in a multitasking role with other maintenance technicians to complete any given task. Must possess excellent verbal communication skills, attendance and safety record with a demonstrated ability to follow directions.

Pay Rate
$39.84/Hr + $0.23 Shift Differential 2nd shift

$0.37 Shift Differential 3rd shift

• Sign on bonus of $1,000 at 6 months.

The Job You Will Perform

• Industrial maintenance mechanic/electrician will perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of machines.
• Troubleshoot emergency maintenance on machines as necessary to support plant operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures
• Reads, manages and performs work orders of required maintenance services.
• Contacts vendors and OEM's when needed to request tech support or parts
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, DC Drives and touchscreens
