Sales Manager – Courtyard by Marriott St. Paul Airport

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by identifying, developing, and managing new and existing business opportunities for the hotel. This role focuses on maximizing rooms, catering, and ancillary revenue while upholding Marriott brand standards and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within assigned market segments (e.g., Corporate, Group, SMERF, BT, Association, Government).
• Conduct outside sales calls, hotel site tours, client entertainment, and participation in industry events to build strong relationships.
• Develop, negotiate, and close group and business transient contracts in accordance with Marriott pricing policies and revenue strategy guidance.
• Maintain an active pipeline using Marriott sales tools (CI/TY, Delphi, and CI/TY Lite where applicable).
