We are seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to become a part of our team Our clinic has been serving the San Fernando Valley for over 8 years. It serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking population. This job requires you to work with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage medical scheduling, including appointment bookings, cancellations, and reminders.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient appointments.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing processes.
• Assist with medical collections and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain organized patient files and health information management systems.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare as a medical assistant (1-2 year experience req)

• Urgent Care experience a PLUS
• GYN experience a PLUS
• Good communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• EHR experience
• Spanish Speaking
• Team player
• Professionalism and pleasant at all times
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Driver's License.
• Must submit to and pass a drug test and criminal background check as a precondition to employment.
• Must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 with booster, Hepatitis B, TDAP, and MMR. Must provide recent TB test.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
