Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Coordinator located in Midlothian, VA. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring efficient communication between patients and the dental team. Additional duties may include verifying insurance details, assisting with billing processes, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.

Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication Skills and ability to interact in a professional and friendly manner
  • Strong skills in Phone Etiquette and handling Receptionist Duties
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and dental office management software
  • Experience with Appointment Scheduling and maintaining organized calendars
  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment
  • Prepare necessary documentation for patient visits and follow-up appointments
  • Collect and update patient information accurately in the electronic health records system
  • Assist with administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
